My experience includes serving as a teacher, lawyer, and tribunal member of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB). Prior to serving as federal Director to the immigration minister, I owned a real estate investment company for 10 years. As residents of Calgary for almost two decades, my husband, Dr. Cory Cundal, and I call Marda Loop home. We have two adult children and two dogs.
From Grande Prairie to Edmonton, from Red Deer to Calgary, I’ve lived, worked, and volunteered across our province. I am a strong champion of human rights values, inspiring my volunteer work with Calgary Reads, Calgary Immigrant Women's Association, Calgary Workers' Resource Centre, the Women’s Centre of Calgary, and my co-founding of Ask Her, a non-profit organization that encouraged more women to run for Calgary’s city council.
I’m running to be your provincial representative in Calgary-Elbow to ensure a strong voice in the next election that combines the fiscally responsible and socially progressive values the riding is known for.
