I dream of a Coquitlam that allows all its residents to live comfortably, work nearby and to have fun within our borders. We have an incredible infrastructure and a great many opportunities, but the cost of housing is growing and folks are constantly having to move further east.

An experienced youth advocate, Ian is determined to get young people engaged in politics by seeing themselves reflected in government.
He is a tireless community volunteer with ties to evironmental, youth and international movements.

Ian is also fluent in French, Spanish and Portuguese. He has spent many years living abroad which has helped him gain insight on the inner workings of other jurisdictions and a wealth of resources to draw upon for innovative ideas for municipal government.
