Tim Krupa is running to deliver economic success, environmental protection and experienced representation for Kelowna—Lake Country. He has extensive experience in business and government. At the moment he works at CPP Investments, which oversees $500 billion in assets on behalf of 20 million Canadians. Previously, he worked as an investor at Bridgewater and advised on policy in the Prime Minister’s Office.
Tim completed the French Immersion program at Kelowna Secondary School, before graduating valedictorian at UBC Okanagan and serving on the University’s Board of Governors. He earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Policy with distinction at Oxford University. He has worked as a research associate at Harvard Business School and was consulted by Mark Carney on his book, Value(s).
These experiences will make Tim a strong advocate for our community in Ottawa. He knows how to deliver results and is ready to serve Kelowna—Lake Country to help build a community and country that is stronger and more resilient than ever before. He knows that families and small businesses in the Okanagan are recovering from the health crisis, economic hardship and extreme weather, including heatwaves and wildfires.
That’s why Tim will fight, alongside Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team to help build back our local economy, create good jobs, and combat climate change. As we finish the fight against COVID-19, he will advocate to make housing more affordable, support agriculture, protect the health of those most vulnerable, and defend and celebrate the incredible diversity of our vibrant community.
