Danny Hozack was born, raised and lives at Streamstown, Alberta. He attended school in Marwayne, then attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he graduated in 1974. 

Married to Pat in 1976, they live, farm and have raised two boys and one girl in the Streamstown area. They are the proud grand parents of eight grandchildren. 

Danny is currently the Chairman of the Economic Education Association of Alberta. See freedomtalk.ca 

Danny is a long-time member of the Alberta Beef Producers, having served as Finance Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chairman. He has also served as an Alberta representative to the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association. 

He has been active in many community, provincial and federal issues, including serving as the Co-Chair of the Wildrose Agricultural Task Force, where he was instrumental in developing the Wildrose’s policy platform. 

Danny was the Wildrose candidate in Lloydminster-Vermilion-Viking in the 2012 and 2015 provincial elections.
