Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team
Terry was born in Fredericton NB and raised in Calgary Alberta since 1963. A resident of Carseland, Alberta since 2002, and has participated as a volunteer for community events, as a volunteer fire fighter and is currently the Emergency Social Services Coordinator for Carseland.

The son of a veteran, I am a proud Albertan and Canadian. Alberta is the only home I know, and memories of growing up here going back to 1963 are the best. I am 62 now, I have raised a family, I run a small business, and I serve my community whenever the chance presents itself. All of my beliefs are grounded on common sense and our rights and freedoms. As a father and grandfather I am very concerned by the direction our education system is heading. That is why I advocate for some serious changes to reduce the power of boards and trustees in favor of parents and teachers. I am committed to making the community safe for everyone.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I am running because I feel our political parties have failed the people. We need to start electing candidates that will never have their voice stolen by party ideology.
