Kabir Qurban is a Secondary School teacher, an acclaimed Human Rights Advocate, an award-winning film producer and a non-profit Executive.
Qurban is a committed advocate, tirelessly working in upholding social justice, climate justice and youth empowerment through education. His active presence in his local community whilst contributing his international perspectives puts him in advantage to lead the local community in the global effort to combat pertinent issues.
From teaching in local schools to giving presentations in Harvard, Yale, Columbia and many other prestigious institutions.
From advocating at local city halls to being present in the United Nations, American Capitol building and in Ottawa on Parliament Hill.
His commitment to the people is reflected in his intention to be of service to the riding of Guildford as their MLA.

As a concerned secondary teacher who saw the deteriorating condition of the education system, and an advocate who's life mission is to bring positive change. I took a leap of faith to run as an independent candidate who wont be held back by party lines!
I've planted 12500 trees, but it wasn't enough to support the future of our forests.
I became a teacher, but it wasn't enough to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
I got involved in human rights advocacy but was limited in my capacity.
This is the beginning, but this is definitely not the end.
I will stand up for our community, I will continue to be a change maker for the better.
