Josephine Beattie, the BC Green candidate for West Kelowna-Peachland, is driven by a deep commitment to community and sustainability. Raised in Prince George by a teacher and social worker, she understands the importance of strong public services, including education and social support. Josephine brings over a decade of experience in communications, having worked with Mercy Ships, the BC Greens Caucus, and various non-profit organizations. Her expertise lies in advocating for transparency and ensuring that the voices of the community are heard. Josephine is passionate about building connections and promoting tourism through local arts and cultural events, as seen through her involvement in creating music festivals with her family. She believes these events play a key role in strengthening the local economy and fostering unity.
