Ray Porcellato brings lifelong New Westminster roots, civic pride, and community leadership as president and general manager of the New Westminster Salmonbellies. In this role, he helps carry forward one of the city’s most iconic sporting traditions while supporting teamwork, volunteer spirit, and community connections that make local sport important.

An amateur artist, Ray brings creativity and an appreciation for arts and culture to his community work. He is running to give back to the city that shaped him and protect what makes New Westminster distinct: its heritage, families, small businesses, amenities, and long-term sustainability.

Through the Salmonbellies, Ray has seen how sport, arts, and community traditions unite people across neighbourhoods, backgrounds, and generations. He will bring that teamwork, creativity, pride, and practical leadership to council, focused on making City Hall work better for residents while building a stronger, connected, inclusive New Westminster for the next generation.
