Danielle Connelly is an experienced New Westminster school board trustee and current Vice-Chair who brings proven leadership and a student-first focus to the board. She has served as Operations, Policy and Planning Committee Chair, and is currently Chair of the Coordinating Committee and the BCSTA Metro Branch, and sits on the district’s accessibility, SOGI, audit and policy review committees.

Before serving on the board, Danielle was active in local school communities through the Skwo:wech Elementary and École Glenbrook Middle School PACs and helped organize the Rally to Rebuild New Westminster Secondary School. A Carleton University graduate with a degree in Political Science and Communications, she has worked in the non-profit, public and private sectors, including roles with UNICEF and ICBC. Danielle lives in Sapperton with her husband Trevor and their two sons and has volunteered with seniors’ programs as well as New Westminster minor hockey and lacrosse.
