As a 25+ year veteran educator and long-term TOL resident, I know exactly what our classrooms need. I am ready to be a dedicated voice for our families, educators, and unique learners.

I am running for School Trustee because our board needs real, frontline classroom experience. My career has allowed me to wear almost every hat in the education system:

• In the Classroom: Teaching students from K-12, with a primary focus on high school but have taught all age group levels.

• In Leadership & Support: Serving as an acting vice-principal, Indigenous Graduation Advocate, Gifted Student Facilitator and on education committees that aim to address student learning and success.

• In Advocacy: Leading BCTF committees (Health & Safety, Pro-D) and amplifying the parent perspective through serving on local PACs and the Langley DPAC.

• In the Community: Supporting special needs families as President of the FiT Network, and coaching or team parent of youth athletes in North Langley baseball, basketball, and football.

I understand the complex challenges our students, teachers, and parents face because I live them every day. I’m ready to bring practical, compassionate, and experienced leadership to the Langley School Board.
