Biography
I later served on the executive of the District Parent Advisory Council, including four years as President. During that time, I sat on numerous district committees and working groups, including Assessment, ETAG, and Safer Schools.
The last four years I have been a Trustee in SD 68. I have been the chair of the Business Committee, Vice Chair of the Board, and am currently the Chair of the Board of Education. I also have sat on various committees including TTLC, CUPE Liaison, ESAP, LRFP, DPAC, NLSF, Bargaining Committee and the Snuneymuxw Joint Education Committee.
I am proud of what the Board has accomplished over the last four years, including strengthening relationships, advancing reconciliation, and supporting projects that create better learning environments for students.
In my spare time, you can find me swimming in the Salish Sea, spending time with family, gardening, or reading a good book.

Reason for running
Public education matters.
It matters to our students, our families, and our community. It shapes opportunities, strengthens connections, and helps build the future we all want to see.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving our community as a School Trustee and Board Chair. I've seen firsthand what is possible when students, families, staff, Indigenous partners, and community organizations come together with a shared commitment to student success and well-being.
I am proud of the progress we've made, but there is still important work ahead. I want to continue advocating for strong public schools, advancing reconciliation, supporting student well-being, and ensuring every student feels welcomed, valued, and connected in our schools.
My leadership has always been grounded in relationships, respect, and service. I believe the best decisions are made by listening, learning, and working together.
That's why I'm running.
Because I believe in our students.
Because I believe in public education.
And because I believe that when we work together, we can create even more opportunities for every learner to thrive.
