My focus is student achievement, safe and welcoming schools, and responsible use of resources. As one of seven trustees, I’ll listen, work with others and advocate for strong learning and opportunities in sports, arts, trades and clubs.

Artificial Intelligence in Schools

I’ll advocate for a sensible AI policy, developed with school leaders, that works for students and staff while supporting learning.

As one of seven trustees, I would work with fellow trustees and school leaders to hear from educators and students, consider benefits and risks, and support clear guidance for responsible classroom use. The goal is to help students learn while giving staff practical direction.

I’ll advocate for safe, welcoming schools where every student and staff member is treated with respect and concerns are addressed fairly.

I’ll advocate for stable board leadership and careful budgets that put classroom learning and student needs first.

As one of seven trustees, I would work with colleagues and district leadership to ask clear questions, review financial plans and monitor outcomes. Stable governance helps schools plan well, and responsible spending should protect classroom learning and the supports students need.

Cory Antrim is a current SD57 trustee, teacher, former education assistant, coach and Prince George business owner. He puts student achievement first and supports safe schools, responsible spending and opportunities in academics, trades, arts, athletics and clubs.

Cory Antrim is a current SD57 Board of Education trustee, teacher, former education assistant, longtime school basketball coach and Prince George business owner. His work in classrooms, on teams and as a trustee has shown him how much students benefit from strong learning, safe and welcoming schools, and opportunities beyond the classroom.

During his first term on the board, Cory has focused on stable leadership, responsible financial planning and decisions grounded in student needs. He believes trustees should listen carefully, ask questions and judge decisions by their effect on students’ opportunities and outcomes. Running for re-election as an independent, Cory does not accept campaign donations and votes according to his own judgment.

I’m running for re-election to build on stable leadership and responsible financial planning at SD57. I’ll keep student achievement front and centre, support safe and welcoming schools, and make independent decisions that improve opportunities for students.

SD57 has made progress toward stable governance, stable leadership and responsible financial planning. I want to continue that work while keeping every decision focused on students.

My priorities are strong classroom learning, safe and welcoming schools, and opportunities in academics, trades, arts, athletics and clubs. My experience as an education assistant, teacher, coach, business owner and trustee helps me see how board decisions affect students and families. I will keep listening, asking questions and voting independently, guided by whether a decision improves opportunities and outcomes for students.
