AI isn't really AI. AI is just really ineresing software. The data centres though are a differnt beast. NIMBY.
I won't appove data centres. We simply do not have the water or the electricity for this.
Business Permitting
Permitting should be permissive. We can't be experts in every business and we can't pick who wins. We are to ensure that businesses are safe and that we have the infrastructure to suppor them. Thats it.
Less red tape.

Economic growth comes from entrepreneurs and businesses, not government. Government should be enablers not obstacles.

Government Procurement
The procurement process needs to be transparent so that money doesn’t flow to friends and special interest groups. I believe in equality, not equity. Everyone should see where the money goes and why.
Open, transparent, fair.
Jobs for young people
Jobs should go to people in our community, not to workers from far away lands. During Covid when the labour force shrunk, wages increased. I’d incentivize hiring local.
