My name is Sierra Wicks-Irving and I am a 24 year old running as an independent candidate for Saanich council. I currently work as a licensed practical nurse and I am back in school to complete my bachelor of science in nursing. On top of that, I volunteer at the BCSPCA and have for eight years. I am running for Saanich council because I want to make it a more inclusive and accessible community for all. I also want to address things such as gaps in our healthcare system and the rising cost of living in Saanich. If elected, I plan on making meaningful change while ensuring Saanich residents are heard, ideas are transparent and communication is prioritized.
