My platform focuses on strengthening the economy by offering incentives to industries to invest. We have growing industrial parks that we can expand to underutilized areas without encroaching farmlands. Currently, we have light industries; however, we can develop industrial parks that can accommodate larger industries such as manufacturing and space technology. This is aligned with the STEM education of our youth, who may someday build a labor force of innovation. This job and income strategy will reduce reliance on property taxes to deliver services. As for healthcare, I propose a team-based model, which is discussed in my TV production Health Care Fix Series 2 (YouTube @tiasibbald). My background is a combination of science and finance, and I intend to work to strengthen these areas I’ve started working outside the government decades ago. Likewise, I will continue to encourage female participation in STEM, community, and governance.
