Al Wahab has worked as a business owner/operator of his Ballroom Dance Centre since 2000, and is currently a Life Coach. With over 30 years of business experience, he understands the necessity for representation to ensure community safety, tax cuts, improved infrastructure, Indigenous equality and rights, homelessness and housing affordability.
He is a doting father and an avid cyclist, who enjoys his free time with his son fishing, camping, gardening and hiking. His passion for Ballroom and Latin dancing is obvious as is his desire to help others and the environment. He is a highly skilled contractor.
Al has been involved in numerous charities such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Red Cross, Diabetes Canada, Food Bank, and most recently as the Regional Director of Toronto Trek for Teens Foundation to raise awareness and funds for homeless and at-risk teens and young adults.
Al Wahab is anxious to bring his proven, problem-solving mindset, to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to the problems we are now facing. He will foster collaboration between parties to realize the desired objectives of the community and the local businesses.
