Anna is a practicing lawyer and entrepreneur who lives in Sydney. She is married to Stephen Manley and has two small children, Fox and Izzy.
Anna has been running businesses for fifteen years. She opened Manley Law in 2016 and also founded and operates a software company that builds AI solutions for the legal industry.
Anna has a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts in English literature from McMaster University. She later taught at Cape Breton University. Anna obtained her law degree from the University of New Brunswick and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2015. She has focused her practice on real estate and corporate law.
Anna has been speaking at national level conferences on issues relating to law, cybersecurity, privacy, and technology for almost ten years. She also works on joint government and judicial projects relating to law and technology.
Having come from a military family, Anna understands the importance of service to both country and community. Anna has volunteered her time with both the Cape Breton YMCA and the Highland Arts Theatre. In her spare time, Anna enjoys working on improving her old house and spending time with her family outdoors.
