Marilyn Gladu is the three-time Conservative Member of Parliament for Sarnia—Lambton, first elected in 2015. A professional engineer of 32 years by trade, Marilyn has since held a number of Shadow Cabinet and Committee roles during her time in federal politics. She was Chair of Status of Women, the Science Critic, Shadow Health Minister, Associate Shadow Minister of International Trade, Shadow Minister of Civil Liberties, and has served on Transport, Health, Science, Status of Women, Human Resources and Official Languages Committees. Marilyn was named a Fellow by the Canadian Academy of Engineers. She has received international recognition for her seniors advocacy. She is one of fewer than 50 MPs ever to have two Private Member’s Bills passed, one developing a palliative care framework for all Canadians, and another protecting pensions.
