Vatthana Maholy is a Canadian of Laotian and Thai descent. His parents immigrated to Canada to escape war and poverty. Since his youth, he's always been interested in politics, but never described himself as a politician. Back then, and still today, when he listens to parliamentarians, he's outraged to see politicians making a show of lying to their fellow citizens.

For six years now, he's seen his country take a political, social and economic direction that doesn't correspond to the Canadian values he was brought up with. Economic exchanges must take place freely between human beings, without government interference.

To ensure prosperity for all Canadians, we must minimize our taxes and the size of the federal government. What's more, we need to instill in every citizen a better understanding of the financial system and how it works.

Let us remain free and strong in a country that puts its citizens first!
