Diego Machado, born in Bogotá, Colombia, is a former human rights lawyer who advocated for victims in South America's longest armed conflict. He immigrated to Canada as skilled worker in 2013 and earned a master’s degree in international law from Université de Sherbrooke in 2016, broadening his understanding of geopolitical issues and local impact.
Diego has worked across Canada’s private and public sectors, including roles at IRCC and ESDC, where he served as a policy analyst before losing his federal position due to mandatory vaccination policies.
A vocal advocate for human rights and parental freedoms, Diego campaigns against globalist agendas, mass immigration, and government overreach, while promoting constitutional reform, local family networks, homeschooling support, and sustainable food systems.
A father of two, he aspires to represent everyday Canadians in the House of Commons, addressing the nation's pressing challenges through the People’s Party of Canada.
