Jay Sobel is a Chartered Industrial Designer with 35 years of experience in telecommunications, defense, healthcare, and consumer products. A graduate of Carleton University and the University of Toronto, his work has earned 29 patents and 34 design awards, contributing to advancements in safety, communication, and healthcare.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jay has 32 years of volunteer service, including coaching and community leadership, and has been actively involved in lacrosse at regional, provincial, national, and international levels for over four decades. His commitment to public service and accountability aligns with the People’s Party of Canada’s principles of freedom, responsibility, fairness, and respect.

A PPC candidate in Don Valley North in 2019 and 2021, Jay now seeks to represent Sherwood Park–Fort Saskatchewan, advocating for transparent governance, responsible policies, and a government that prioritizes Canadians.
