Reason for running

Larry is aligned with the PPC principles of freedom, respect, fairness and responsibility.

Larry is a husband, father of five grown children, and grandfather to 15. He and his wife, Petrina, reside on their family farm in Mountain View County, Alberta, now operated by their son. With a diverse career background, Larry has worked in skilled trades, small business, cattle farming, and both large and small companies. He has spent 45 years as an Advanced Care Paramedic and was a manager for the City of Calgary and the provincial health authority.

Larry was drawn to the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) because he believes that establishment political parties prioritize power over people, using taxpayer money for partisan gains rather than true representation. He supports the PPC’s grassroots, common-sense approach, which ensures that MPs genuinely represent their constituents rather than party interests.

Larry believes the federal government must respect provincial jurisdiction and support prosperity rather than hinder it. The PPC will be the provinces’ strongest ally in Ottawa, working to restore accountability and principled leadership in Canadian politics.
