Belent Mathew is a seasoned Office Manager with a background in office administration, human resources and computer programming. In December 2024, he was selected as the Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Scarborough Centre—Don Valley East.

Over the last 15 years he has volunteered with several organizations dedicated to improving the lives of people in need. This includes volunteering at food banks and playing a key role in planning, organizing and leading charitable events to support struggling families. As a husband and father of three, Belent values his community and understands the importance of excellent local health care and effective public services.

The residents of Scarborough Centre—Don Valley East need a more affordable life within a strong economy that works for people of all backgrounds and levels of income. Belent will work hard to make life better for working families, seniors and small businesses in Scarborough Centre—Don Valley East.
