Personally, I feel that the Liberal government has abandoned fiscal responsibility over the past 10 years, and has become hijacked by the NDP and socialists. On the other hand, the Conservatives have taken a hard-right turn -- wanting to bring back abortion legislation and not supporting Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) as an end-of-life option for Canadians.

I served on my local town council from 1990 to 1996 before retiring (voluntarily) from local politics. I've run several small business over the years, and I help out with the entrepreneurship programs at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
