In this historic election, Rob Oliphant is proud to be running for re-election as your Member of Parliament for Don Valley West.
A longtime resident of Don Valley West, he first served as MP from 2008-11 and returned to Parliament in 2015. He is proud to have earned the trust of his community over four successful election campaigns.For the last two decades, Rob has been a tireless advocate for progressive change in Don Valley West. Over that time, he is proud to have delivered real results for people across our riding, including:
- Lifting nearly 13,000 local children out of poverty with the Canada Child Benefit
- Building more homes with millions in federal funding
- Saving families $14,000 per kid with affordable child care

As Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2019, Rob has played a key role in shaping Canada’s foreign policy. He has been a trusted advisor to the last four Foreign Ministers, and represented Canada at the United Nations, Commonwealth and beyond.
