My goal is to make Burnaby more welcoming, more affordable and more democratic. Families are forced to leave our community because of unaffordability. I want to strengthen people's connection to the community by ensuring residents, regardless of their politics, feel heard.

Work toward an effective emergency response and management plan, and educate the community on the plan. Complete seismic upgrading of all public facilities. Make housing more affordable , so first responders do not have to cross bridges and fight traffic in the event of disaster

We want to maintain and enhance the amenities that touch the most people in our community. We will reduce the barriers to accesiblity by reducing fees and prioritizing inclusive facilities. We need to improve the composition and accountability of the parks commission.

I have lived in and around Burnaby since 1988, for the last 18 years in Metrotown. I am a public school teacher in New Westminster. My goal as a councillor is to ensure that all people have a voice and receive the respect we all deserve. I have two children in Burnaby schools.
