My slogan is Penny Noble-your NO BULL choice for a livable Vancouver. That sums it up- I am open, straighforward and believe in cutting to the chase. I known to get things done. I created and ran (as a volunteer) the Heritage Vancouver Garden Tour, raising over $100,000 for heritage preservation and education in our City. We have a lot of red tape in our City. Permits take too long, are cumbersome and we don't know how our money is being spent. New zoning and other decisions are passed without the chance for people to have input or even understand how it works and the implications. I want to collaborate with the new Council and Mayor whatever their political stripes or background and cut through all of that to  improve all of the issues that are being discussed. I believe in Neigbourhoods. Vancouver is a City of Neighbourhoods where people know each other, and their local businesses and where they can walk to basic amenities. That is changing with local businesses forced out. We need to change that and I will work to make that change.
