In light of recent events concerning school shootings, I understand the fear of such an event happening in Vancouver is on every parent's mind. As a professional and millenial who recently left the public school system, it is on my mind too, and I want to take action.
I am not running because I aspire to be a politician, but because I aspire to bring about the change that keeps our students safe.
I am no partisan, I am not ideological. My sole focus is on establishing concrete, practical policies and measures that are empirically proven in reducing the prevalence and fear of crime and disorder in our schools.
I am the ONLY candidate who is heavily invested in protecting our school students and staff. I will leverage my knowledge and experience to ensure that school security becomes a priority in the Vancouver School Board, along with the usual humdrum of budget, policies, and bureaucracy.
On October 20th, I encourage all citizens in Vancouver to vote for keeping our students safe and secure in the years to come.
