The NB NDP is thrilled to announce that Alex Gagne, housing rights activist and former Vice-President of the New Brunswick NDP, is our candidate for Moncton Northwest in the 2024 provincial election.

Alex is the former Chair of the New Brunswick NDP Youth Caucus and is passionate about bringing affordable education to New Brunswickers as well as youth issues.

He is a former organizer of the New Brunswick Chapter of the Tenants Rights Union Acorn. After moving away for a while he is now back living in Moncton and has deep roots as an activist and community organizer. He can often be found attending rallies and demonstrations on workers rights and housing affordability.

Alex Gagne's election would mark a historic moment for our province in ensuring youth voices are included at the table.
