Loyola O’Driscoll is the Member of the House of Assembly for the District of Ferryland, first elected on May 16, 2019, and re-elected on March 27, 2021. A lifelong resident of Bay Bulls, he lives there with his wife, Yvette, and has dedicated much of his life to strengthening the communities from Petty Harbour – Maddox Cove to St. Shotts.
Before serving provincially, Loyola was a municipal councillor in Bay Bulls and an active volunteer with organizations such as the Bay Bulls–Bauline Athletic Association (BBBAA). He’s also a former Southern Shore Senior Breaker, bringing the same team spirit and drive from the rink to his work in public service.
As MHA, Loyola has built a reputation as a compassionate and results-driven representative. He has championed issues that matter to all of us — including better access to healthcare, the rising cost of living, and community safety while helping to secure funding for key projects throughout the district. Known as a “go-getter,” Loyola continues to work tirelessly to deliver real results for the people he represents.
