Born and raised in Marystown, Brian has always carried a deep-rooted connection to his community and the people of the Burin Peninsula. After many years working away from home in industrial project management, Brian returned to Marystown—where his heart has always been—to give back to the region that shaped him.
Since being elected Mayor of Marystown in 2021, Brian has been a passionate advocate for the town and surrounding areas. Known for his no-nonsense approach and strong leadership, he has worked tirelessly to support local services, drive sustainable growth, and promote economic stability across the region.
With firsthand experience of both the challenges and the opportunities in rural communities, Brian understands what matters to the people who live here. He believes in the power of community and the strength of a collective voice. His dedication to ensuring rural Newfoundland and Labrador is heard and respected at the provincial level is unwavering.
