To build an inclusive, accessible, and thriving Orléans where every resident has equal opportunities, strong protections, and the support needed to live with dignity and success.
My policies are rooted in the principles of human rights, accessibility, and economic inclusion, ensuring that every resident of Orléans and Ontario can live with dignity and opportunity.
I am committed to fixing systemic failures in healthcare by reducing ER wait times, expanding access to family doctors, and prioritizing disability-inclusive healthcare. My vision includes specialized treatment centers, mental health funding, and disability health insurance to ensure no one is left behind.
Housing affordability is a core concern. I advocate for stronger rent controls, affordable housing development, and first-time homebuyer support while ensuring disability-friendly housing options for low-income individuals.
Economic stability is essential. I push for lower property taxes, small business support, cost-of-living relief, and fair wages. My agenda includes vocational training, employment opportunities for marginalized communities, and tax incentives for inclusive hiring to drive economic empowerment.
Addressing poverty and homelessness is a priority. I will expand shelter services, mental health and addiction support, job training, and food security programs to combat the root causes of hardship.
Education and special needs support are personal to me. I fight for better special education programs, assistive technology, and stronger disability rights laws.
Lastly, I champion infrastructure accessibility, ensuring all public spaces, schools, hospitals, and transport systems meet strict accessibility standards.
My vision is to build a thriving, inclusive, and well-funded Orléans:

Reason for running
Why Arabella Vida is Running as MPP for Orléans
Arabella Vida is running as the MPP Candidate for Orléans because she has personally experienced the deep failures of a system that should protect Canadians—especially the most vulnerable. Her motivation stems from a tragic incident involving her son, Ethan Nikko Vida, who was harmed by Air Canada staff in May 2023. Instead of receiving justice, she and her son faced re-victimization by government service providers, exposing inhumane failures in accountability, healthcare, and disability rights.
Today, Ethan’s life remains uncertain due to the damages inflicted upon him and the lack of essential medical care. Despite Canada’s commitments to UNHCR and AODA rights, these protections exist only on paper, not in practice, forcing families like hers to fight for basic dignity and justice.
Arabella refuses to stay silent and began her political career in April 2024 to fix the broken system and support Canadians. Her personal experience has given her deep insight into Canada’s broken systems, allowing her to understand the struggles of families facing discrimination, poverty, poor infrastructure, transportation challenges, lack of quality education, and inadequate healthcare services. Through Ethan Vida Organization, she has been meeting one-on-one with affected families, listening to their struggles, and directly serving those in need. She has witnessed firsthand how government neglect has left many Ontarians without support and is determined to bring real, lasting change.
At this point, Arabella is the only leader from the Orléans community solely fighting for Orléans people's rights—not for political gains like other parties. She is committed to addressing each community’s issues, not just to win an election, but to build real, lasting relationships with the people. She vows to remain in direct contact with residents beyond the campaign, working alongside them to bring real solutions to their daily struggles.
Key Priorities as MPP:

- Public Safety & Infrastructure: Improve community safety, roads, and public transport.
