Eric Schmalz is the Saskatchewan Party candidate in Saskatchewan Rivers for the 2024 General Election.

Since 2019, Eric has served as Reeve for the RM of Prince Albert.

Before entering politics, Eric served 13 years as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. In 2016, he joined his family’s business and obtained training as an auctioneer. In 2019, Eric was elected Reeve for the RM of Prince Albert in a by-election, and subsequently re-elected in the fall of 2020.

Eric resides near Prince Albert with his wife and their two children.
