Thomas was born and raised in Vancouver, studied Natural Resource Sciences at UBC, worked fighting forest fires from 2011-2018, and currently works as a Wildfire Project Manager. Thomas and his fiancée will be married on October 24th in Kamloops (yes, that's also election day).
