I have served on Victoria City Council since 2022. As a lawyer by training, a professional speaker by profession, community volunteer by nature, and independent thinker by principle, I have consistently stood up for taxpayers, small businesses, and everyday Victorians.
I was born in Winnipeg and have lived in Brockville, Toronto, and Vancouver. I have a Juris Doctor degree (law) from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and maintain a non-practicing membership in the Law Society of BC.
Since 1991, I have been a consultant and speaker on harassment, bullying, discrimination and all aspects of workplace human rights. My clients have included businesses, unions, non-profits, educational institutions and governments at all levels in Canada.
As a city councillor since 2022, I don't work from any ideological agenda but rather I focus on what matters: keeping our streets safe; spending Victorians’ money wisely; and supporting housing that actually works for everyone.
