Biography
I am a former Park Board commissioner, 20 plus year post-secondary lecturer, and lifelong cyclist who champions safer streets, expanded transit access, and parks that serve everyone. Now I'm running to bring that experience back to the board at a time when Vancouver's parks need a strong, independent voice that will protect the Park Board and make it resilient.
Reason for running
To maintain and increase access to all Vancouver residents to Park Board spaces, to plan for and adapt our city's parks and community centres to climate change, and to ensure that the Park Board jurisdiction is protected and that parks are fully funded, including swimming pools, sports fields and community centres.
