West Vancouver has been home for Joe for more than three decades as a Horseshoe Bay resident, lawyer, business owner and volunteer.
A lawyer, economist and marine-policy specialist, with degrees from Dalhousie University, Dalhousie Law School and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Joe has 40-plus years of public and private-sector experience, including serving as a federal prosecutor; advising governments and public agencies; serving as an outside examiner for the Auditor General (Canada) on marine and environmental policy and emergency planning; and serving as a corporate vice-president.
His community service includes Scouts Canada, the Vancouver Maritime Museum and environmental and public-interest initiatives.
Joe’s priorities are fiscal accountability, economic development, transparent decision-making, emergency preparedness and responsible management. West Vancouver needs evidence-based leadership. We must think our way out of problems, not raise taxes.
