Richmond has been home since 2001. I raised three children here with my wife Harjot, a lifelong Richmond resident. I was an RCMP officer for 28 years, including a decade at Richmond Detachment–Serious Crime, Vulnerable Persons, Domestic Violence Coordinator, and Economic Crime. These experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of Richmond’s public safety challenges. Many families know me as “Coach Bob”. I have been a volunteer coach since 2009 in hockey, soccer, lacrosse and ball hockey. After retiring in 2024, I have been working in my father-in- law’s construction business and training toward being a licensed general contractor. I am running for City Council to put my experience and leadership to work for the community. My priorities are strengthening public safety, supporting responsible growth, property rights, improving affordability, and being a champion for youth and seniors so Richmond stays safe and prosperous for generations to come.
