In 2025, BC’s softwood lumber exports were 57% below 2016 by volume and more than 15,000 forestry jobs have been lost since 2022. We will review and eliminate unnecessary permitting costs so BC mills can get back to work." — Ready to Deliver, retrieved 2026-10-18

"Conservative candidate for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky, Ayla Dumais, today committed to secure up to $15 million over two years, if elected, to fund a comprehensive regional express bus pilot project spanning the Highway 99 corridor.
The funding commitment will establish the region’s first fully integrated, public bus network, directly linking transit hubs in West Vancouver to Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton to relieve highway congestion, improve commuter safety, and connect local workers with affordable transit options.
Delivering Reliable, High-Frequency Regional Transit
The proposed $15 million commitment provides full capital and operational funding for the two-year pilot phase, ensuring robust service without placing an unfunded burden on local property taxpayers.
Key features of the proposed pilot include:
- Seamless Lower Mainland Connection: Reliable connections between West Vancouver/Park Royal, Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton with access to the broader Lower Mainland transit network.
- Reliable, Corridor-Appropriate Service: A fleet and service model designed for the unique operating conditions and travel needs of the Sea-to-Sky corridor.
- Commuter & Workforce Support: Schedules designed to better support people travelling between communities for work, education, appointments, and essential services.
- Safety & Infrastructure Upgrades: Practical improvements to stops, passenger facilities, Park & Ride connections, transit information and other infrastructure required to support safe and reliable regional service."

"British Columbia has the resources, workers and strategic location to become a global energy leader. The BC Conservatives’ Energy Superpower Plan will get our province building again, doubling natural gas production by 2032 and tripling it by 2035, creating good-paying jobs, attracting billions in investment and generating new revenue for the services British Columbians rely on." — conservativebc.ca, retrieved 2026-10-13

— BC Energy Superpower Plan, retrieved 2026-10-13
"• The LNG sector has less of a presence in BC today than it did a decade ago. We will encourage the proponents of BC LNG and BC oil and gas to come back home to BC, to domicile here and increase their physical presence in the province where they operate.
• We will do this in a framework that has upside for the proponents through direct engagement: domiciling in BC has to be good for project proponents while increasing investment and benefits for BC."

"• We will reach out to proponents that left BC's LNG sector under a hostile or ambivalent BC NDP government.
• This includes ExxonMobil (exited in 2018), Chevron (exited in 2019 and no buyer found in 2021 so they wound down investment in BC), Petronas (cancelled Pacific NorthWest LNG a week after the NDP took office), and Woodside (exited 2021).

BC Conservative promises
"Repeal CleanBC to remove barriers to investment and growth." — Ready to Delivery, retrieved 2026-10-18
"Tracking emissions accurately. We will count emissions where they occur and report BC’s emissions alongside emissions avoided through cleaner BC exports. Gas replacing coal overseas reduces global emissions; moving a BC mill to a dirtier jurisdiction does not. The full value of our forests will be counted in our favour as emissions offsets. BC can be a significant part of the global solution through cleaner energy exports." — Ready to Delivery, retrieved 2026-10-18

I firmly believe that we have to repeal SOGI. Obviously we have to provide a safe place for our kids. Just like I said in Bridgeview yesterday, I went as a child to the Bridgeview Elementary School and felt safe.
We need to continue that tradition. But I do believe that SOGI has to be repealed.”
