Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
Running for New Blue in Parry Sound-Muskoka to combat rising costs, government corruption, and to reform education for our community's future.

I am running as the Parry Sound-Muskoka candidate for the New Blue Party of Ontario because I see a pressing need for change in our community. My primary focus is on making life more affordable; the rising cost of living in our region has placed undue strain on families and local businesses. We need policies that reduce taxes and streamline government spending to put more money back into your pockets.

I am committed to being an alternative to the government corruption and mismanagement we've witnessed. Our local governance should be transparent and accountable, serving the interests of Parry Sound-Muskoka residents, not special interests or political agendas.

Education reform is at the heart of my campaign. Our schools should prepare our children for future opportunities, but we're facing issues like overcrowded classrooms, outdated curricula, and a lack of local control over educational decisions. I advocate for a school voucher policy to give parents more choice in education while fostering competition and innovation within the system. This would allow our community to tailor education to our specific needs, emphasizing practical skills, critical thinking, and local heritage.

By focusing on these local issues, I aim to ensure that Parry Sound-Muskoka thrives, where affordability, integrity, and education are not just promises but realities. I want to be your voice for a better, more responsive, and community-focused government.
