This is an issue being experienced all over BC. 1. I would engage the provincial government to follow up with their initial grant for renters promise and propose an income tax rebate instead relative to income.2. Encourage single home owners to renovate their homes to have additional suites where possible. Access the possibility of grants/rebates towards upgrades.3. Assess the use of Air bnb rentals vs long term housing rentals and how that is affecting rental availability.

No one should ever be homeless. I will support existing programs and organizations currently working to provide shelter and care for those in need.
