Ken was born and raised in Conception Bay South, and he’s proud to call it home. Deeply rooted in the community, Ken successfully owned and operated a local business for 28 years before making the transition to public life.

His commitment to giving back is long-standing. He is a former member and past president of the CBS Lions Club, and has been involved in numerous volunteer initiatives over the years. He also served on CBS Town Council and held the role of Mayor from 2013 to 2015.

Ken was first elected as the federal Member of Parliament for Avalon in 2015, and re-elected in 2019 and 2021. Now, he’s eager to continue serving the people of CBS — this time as their representative in the House of Assembly.
