With 27 years of experience serving the Board, I am seeking re-election as a member of the Surrey First Education team. Over the years, I have learned that effective leadership is about listening, working collaboratively and putting the needs of students, families and staff first. Our team has made maintaining a respectful, collaborative and friendly working environment a priority. We balance an operating budget every year of approximately $1 billion. We have opened new schools as well as much needed additions to meet the needs of a growing community. We have increased before and after school programs to 97 schools and lunch programs to 128 school sites since 2022, helping families with greater flexibility and support. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and, with your support, look forward to continuing this work and building on that progress.
