Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I’m committed to making Port Moody a city where we can Live, Work, and Play.
• Create Community Hubs and neighbourhood parks
• Homes for renters and home-owners around these hubs & small business clusters.
• Prioritize safety for drivers, pedestrians and everyone

I’m running because I feel like I can help. I'm a communicator, a listener, and a problem-solver. Finding solutions is what I do. I've lived here for almost 10 years. I’m raising my family here. I’ve volunteered here and loved every minute of it. This is home and I love it.

But I see gaps.

Housing being built that doesn't fit families.

Streets that don't feel safe for pedestrians, bike riders or even drivers. Local businesses that are forced to leave our city because there are no places being built to hold them.

Parks without bathrooms.

And I know we can do better. Parks that families can actually use—with bathrooms and water fountains. Homes that fit real families, not just studios. Streets where everyone feels safe, whether you're driving, walking, or biking.

And places that have shops and services that I can use.

I want a Port Moody where we can LIVE, WORK, and PLAY. A 15-minute city. Neighbourhood hubs. Safer streets and sidewalks for drivers and pedestrians. I just want a city where we can just BE and Stay.
