I would encourage everyone to visit OneBC's website and read our plan: www.1bc.ca/priorities. Our plans are ambitious, but necessary to right BC's current course. We will work to repeal DRIPA and demand constitutional forms to unite all British Columbians, we will reduce income taxes by 25%, we will work to balance the budget in 4 years, repeal the HPOA and shift health care funding to frontline employees, remove SOGI and institute a parental bill of rights, and eliminate safe supply and drug consumption programs. The underlying theme in all of our actions will be based on individual accountability and governmental transparency. It is time for the citizens of British Columbia to feel represented within the Legislature, and to start holding those representatives accountable.

Biography
I was raised with a deep appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities that Canada provides, but also with the understanding that democracy can never be taken for granted. Good government depends on elected representatives who are accountable to the people they serve, and more importantly, upon the citizens who hold those representatives accountable.
I earned my BA in Anthropology from the University of Calgary before briefly moving to California, where I obtained my Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law. After practising law for several years, I returned home to Canada and built a career as a legal advisor in the energy sector. In 2013 my husband John and I incorporated a full-service supply chain consulting firm. Over the years, we have grown our business while raising our daughter and running our family farm in Ellison, gaining firsthand experience of the challenges faced by farmers, parents and small business owners in our province.
I believe strongly in standing up for my community and in leading by example, and over the past years I have led rallies and campaigns within my region to oppose unlawful dumping, protect waterways and take a stand against irresponsible development that threatens to harm the future of the Okanagan Valley. My favourite part of living in Ellison is listening to the owls hooting at night.
I believe that British Columbians deserve leaders who approach public service with humility, make decisions openly and transparently, and never lose sight of the fact that a government only exists to serve its citizens. If elected, I will bring to the legislature the same approach that has guided me throughout my career: read the fine print, think critically, ask difficult questions, and never be afraid to challenge the status quo. Most importantly, I intend to remain true to the principles that brought me there in the first place.

Reason for running
I was never politically involved growing up, because I trusted my government and was happy with my quality of life. Over the past fifteen years, I have become increasingly concerned at the inefficiencies and waste at all levels in government. The people of British Columbia are subject to some of the highest personal income tax rates in North America, and it is often not apparent what we are receiving in exchange for those taxation payments. At the same time, the current government has restricted freedom of speech, and hamstrung professionals in their practise by introducing the HPOA and similar acts. I believe in smaller, more efficient government, reducing onerous and bureaucratic regulations on individuals and businesses, and in encouraging economic growth by attracting talented people and businesses to our beautiful province.
