Without housing, jobs can't be filled, money can't be made, and a country cannot survive.

The likelihood of ever owning a home is further and further out of reach for our generation.

Do I think housing is a right? No.
However housing needs to be affordable for everyone.

Tiny homes could be an easy way for young singles or couples to get into homes to start with. I would recommend the Valley allows for more large properties to have many dwellings on them. Tiny homes fit almost anywhere!

We should be trimming the fat in our government. Cut jobs that aren't required. Cut all taxes that aren't required.

When the first tax system was put in place, it was intended to be temporary. How did we get from that to where we are now?

Our FED govt happily sends our hard earned money overseas without consulting the tax payers who OWN the government.

It's unacceptable.
We need to be ensuring that hard working Canadian families are taken care of first. Less taxes, means more money in the pockets of Canadians who need it.

I'm not a rocket scientist... however I can't comprehend for the life of me, how it could take 10 years to implement a 10$ a day child care system. (Liberal timeline quote).

I'm just putting out an idea

The province could take in applications from the public who wish to start their own small businesses dealing with childcare.

These people would need background checks and there would have to be inspections of their facilities and such, as normally would be required.

The province could then compile a list of how many children in each area require childcare. The province could work with the small businesses to get started. This creates jobs, and solves a problem. Easy peasy. This shouldn't take more than 6 months!

The liberals have devalued the education system for our generation all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Our teachers aren't be supported properly.

Our schools are filling the young minds of children with perversion.

Parents have lost faith in our education system and enrollments are at an all time low.

These are serious matters.

We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. It's our duty to protect it.

We need to balance protection of the environment with the economy. We need to harvest resources to keep our world going, but need to ensure we are doing it sustainability and as clean as possible.

No jobs = no money = no way to take care of what's around us.

There is always a happy medium.

Preventative health care needs to be more encouraged.

We need bigger facilities, more nurses, doctors and state of the art equipment.

There is too little emphasis on senior care. Most people these days do not take care of their elderly relatives in their homes anymore; there is a real shortage of senior care facilities in the province and here on Vancouver Island.

These matters go both ways.

Everyone should be entitled to their own opinions, however when it gets to the point where other peoples thoughts are forced upon others, that is unacceptable.

Education inspires innovation. The more we learn, the greater we advance forward in technology which creates a better quality of life. Better technology means cleaner, more green ways of doing things. Having great schools is extremely important.

Lets get them taken care of. They are our parents, our grand parents, our family friends. They helped us get here, and it's time we looked after them.

We cannot survive without income. As much as we like to think life isn't about money.... We've learned that we can't do much without it. We need to have more incentives for small business start-ups to promote economic growth in BC.

Bicycles are great in the summer or in the city. Rain adds some "suck" factor, and the winter adds an element of danger for the rider and vehicles on the road. On top of this, they are only good for one rider and you can't carry any cargo. For most in the Valley, this won't work. We will always need planes, trains and automobiles. Our valley has an old rail line, and getting it running again would promote intercity trade and expansion. Having a good rail system would allow more people to move into the Valley to commute easily to other cities around us for jobs. It will help attract more people to travel to our Island to explore and vacation. All good things!
