Judie Schneider is a dedicated activist and PAC volunteer. As a renter, commuter cyclist, pedestrian, transit user and occasional driver, she sees herself as an ordinary citizen who has experienced the same unmet needs and frustrations as many Richmond citizens.

Judie has been an environmental, animal and community activist for 27 years. Currently, her focus is protecting Richmond from overdevelopment—most notably stopping mega-mansions on farmland. She is also incensed there are more bulldozers than children playing on residential streets. Judie will strive to meet the needs of both new and long-time Richmond residents for a safe, cohesive, green community. Judie holds a Certificate in Professional Communications from UBC. In addition to writing, active living is important to her—she has been a long-distance runner for 35 years, spent 7 years working in aquatics, and has dedicated years to rock-climbing and snowboarding.
