Gregory Seib is currently the Education Coordinator for Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Education Authority for Deschambault Lake. He completed his Bachelor of Education and taught in Prince Albert, Asquith and Deschambault Lake, as a teacher and Principal. In addition, Greg completed a master’s degree of Northen Governance and Development in 2016. Before working in education, he acquired his Journeyman’s Carpenter certificate and worked with his father in their family construction business for many years.
Greg has volunteered and serve on various community boards and committees such as the Deschambault Lake- Co-Management, RCMP Police Management Board, Church Board, Interagency Committee, and Northern Sports Culture & Recreation District Committee.
Alongside his wife Deborah, he managed a seasonal outfitting camp business for over fifteen years. He currently resides in Deschambault Lake with his wife Deborah of 37 years. They take great pride and joy supporting their parents, niece-daughter, granddaughter, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Gregory is a proud member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.
