Jean-Luc Cooke founded an information security consultancy firm after graduating from Carleton University with a degree in engineering. He has since moved on to a several I.T. ventures, again focusing on security and combinatorics.
Jean-Luc is aware that we need to act now to confront the climate crisis and create a brighter future. That is why he has been actively involved with the Green Party since 2011, and currently serves as the President of the federal party. Jean-Luc previously ran in both the 2011 and 2015 federal elections. In addition to playing a key role in the Green Party’s internal development, Jean-Luc has been president of his community association for the past ten years and also helped establish a Neighbourhood Watch in Bells Corners.
Jean-Luc has deep roots in Nepean, and is connected to the collective desires and needs of this community. He was married in Barrhaven–Fallowfield Village and, along with his wife and two young daughters, calls Bells Corners home.
