Eliminate all long-term drinking water advisories on reserve by 2021.
Develop a national water strategy in partnership with provinces, territories, municipal/local governments, and Indigenous peoples, to ensure safe drinking water.
Ensure the Act Respecting First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Children, Youth, and Families is fully implemented, with long-term, predictable, and sufficient funding to support implementation.
Ensure the Indigenous Languages Act is fully implemented.
- Establish a national benefits-sharing framework to ensure First Nations directly benefit form major resource projects in their territories.
- Have at least 5% of federal contracts awarded to Indigenous-led businesses.
- Co-develop distinctions-based Indigenous Health legislation, backed with investments.
- Work with First Nations communities to ensure Indigenous control over the development and delivery of services.
Appoint a Minister for Consulting Indigenous Rights Holders.
Address critical infrastructure needs such as housing, all-weather roads, high-speed Internet, health facilities, treatment centres, and schools in First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities by 2030.
Fund on-reserve emergency management and prevention, including firefighting training and equipment.
Invest in seeing all First Nations off of diesel by 2030.
